If you need help deciding if a painting is right for your space, we offer a digital option for you. Just email us a picture of your anticipated art space (above the sofa, over a table, on a skinny wall, etc.) and provide us with any dimensions you have (the length of the sofa, table, wall, etc.). We'll do a photo mockup of the painting you're considering, so you can see approximately what it would look like in your space.
If you are local, we also offer an in-home visit. Just let us know which paintings you're considering and we'll bring them to you, for you to try right in the space!
We also provide limited interior design consultation. If you're stuck on which color to paint your room, color combinations for textiles and decor, or need some artistic vision for your space regarding furniture layout or theme - please email us, for a consult.
I would be delighted to create a special custom piece for you, based on the size, design and color needs for your space. Commissions usually take 8 - 12 weeks to complete - depending on the size, complexity of design, and my current work schedule. Rush orders may require an additional fee. Please note - this completion date does not include shipping and delivery time.
How I work: During the creation process, I may send you progress photos for you to give feedback on the overall direction of the piece, especially towards the end. When I feel the painting is finished, I will email you a photo for you to sign off on. Once we both agree that the piece is finished, it will need 3 - 5 days to be varnished and cured and ready to hang. Local purchasers may have their piece hand-delivered. All others will be carefully wrapped and packaged and delivered via parcel service. If, in the unlikely event, we cannot come to an agreement on the finality of the artwork - you are free to cancel the project, under the terms below. However, I make every effort to make sure you are pleased with the result.
Communication: If you'd like to communicate your color choices and ideas, by sending me paint or fabric swatches, I'll add them to my design board. If you like a certain style of one of my previous works, please let me know, and I'll consider that direction. I'll try to respond to any emails you send, within a timely manner (usually 24 - 48 hours).
Deposit: I require a 50% deposit, before beginning your painting, and to secure your spot on my commission calendar. The balance is due upon completion, and prior to shipping or delivering your piece.
Cancellation: I work hard to make sure the artwork is a mixture of your wants and desires, along with my artistic painting style. If however, you are not pleased with the final product, you are not obligated to purchase the piece. You will be refunded your 50% deposit, minus 25% of the TOTAL purchase price, for materials and commission fee.
Shipping: Shipping is FREE in the USA, for pieces up to 36 x 48 (larger pieces will require shipping to be paid by the buyer, as it will entail a crating and shipment service. Or you can decide to have your piece removed from stretchers and shipped in a tube.) Outside the US - please email for approximate delivery cost. (Paintings shipped outside the US are generally taken off the stretcher bars and rolled in a tube for shipment. You will need to have it restretched on your end. This is usually not that expensive, and is much less than paying to ship a large painting.)
